„I love this hotel before we got in our room we was warned that it may smell of paint which we was completely okay. Its cash only on arrival which i didn’t know so I contacted before hand and the manager managed to arrange it for me and go straight sleep that day and sort it tomorrow. It has honestly been amazing. „Lovely overnight stay. Used as a base to explore the surrounding areas. Was a bit concerned when we read that a lot of staff had walked out upon sale of the property (some sort of protest I guess). However, the staff we encountered were delightful and extremely conscientious. Special thanks to Caitlin and Adele, I hope your new employer's appreciate you. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms maybe a little tired but were spotless and very comfortable. Thanks again, we will certainly return.“

The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. „We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. „Place is managed by one man Tom who was very nice ...Owner was off to Birmingham as we arrived and another lady disappeared when I spoke to her so not much of a welcome . Place needs work and cleaning tbh ... Basic standards are a must especially in a town with so much competition.. Hotel had two names which doesn't help.Think we were the only ones there but we were the only ones for breakfast ... Took a while to get any response from anyone as place was deserted but got there in the end ...Tom ...
