Accessing the villa could not have been easier, straight forward instructions easy to follow.
First impressions were great. It is a magnificent property in a stunning setting. The views of both the mountains, the town and the sea are incredible and the pool and terrace are wonderful - huge and spotlessly clean.
HOWEVER, the property is described as being Air Conditioned. To describe it as such in 2018 is a blatant misrepresentation. It is NOT air conditioned. It has one damaged portable air conditioning unit, that requires windows to be open to allow the vent to escape. That unit did not adequately air condition 1 bedroom, let alone the whole villa, which is huge. As it was damaged, it was incredibly noisy, and totally without effect.
Our 5 children were so hot at night they had to be treated with antihistamine for heat rash and had no sleep - it was so bad that for 1 night, we had to find them alternative accommodation.
The advice from the manager was to open the windows - which we of course did - the outcome being that everyone was badly bitten despite us having an electric mosquito repellent and all being sprayed.
The manager further became very rude and dismissive of our concerns, accusing us of just wanting a free holiday. That simply was not the case - we have 1 week holiday with our children and invested heavily in it. Instead of being perfect, it was a matter of managing very distressed children, meaning none of us were able to enjoy the beautiful and magnificent setting.
We simply would not have booked it had we known the state of the air conditioning and given the size of the property is likely to attract families with children, urge you from both a legal and moral perspective, to reconsider how you represent this property.
