Terrible smell throughout and built up grime in kitchen. The basement was full of water and there is an open sewer drain. „The cottage was so very charming and it definitely felt one stepped back in time! THe location was superb. Wonderful positive surprises (did not pick up fully in the listing) included the gas powered fireplaces (there are two!) and cozy, private garden patio in back. One item I missed on the listing was that there was only one Bath/shower and it was on the main floor - not where the bedrooms are located - that said, the water was hot and there were plenty of cushy towels! „House is great for a large crowd, we were stuck inside due to rainy weather but the screened in back porch was awesome as we could still sit outside and not feel cramped up in the house and with the large upstairs room the kids could play inside easily. House is well stocked with almost anything you would need from shampoo to pots, pans and plates. We basically just bring food“
