„This was my second time at El Colonial. As the first time, it was great. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. I always feel very welcome. Sadly I always just stay one night. But it is definitely worth to make my way here from the airport. Hotel is in the midst of old San Juan and lots of restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. Very nice roof terrace for some drinks or just some peace and quiet. I will certainly stay again.“

„Although the place has no reception (please do not be fooled by the photo) the manager made excellent attempts at getting hold of me to talk me through the check-in process. This is a self service accommodation with codes which I had not been aware off (my fault for not reading). Once I contacted Jorge, I was easily able to enter the accommodation (all by entry codes).
