Zentrale Lage. Zu wenig Parkplätze. Ein großer öffentlicher Platz für 5 Pfund / 24h ist um die Ecke. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber klein. Keine Klimaanlage. Kostenlos auf dem Zimmer: Wasser, Limo und Kartoffelchips. Tee und Kaffee kann man sich wohl im Speiseraum kostenlos besorgen. Hellhörige Wasserleitungen. Die Lüftung im Bad ist mit Pilzkulturen voll! Es ist mir ein Rätsel, warum man sich in britischen Hotels allgemein so wenig um die Sauberkeit der Lüftungen kümmert. Zum Duschen wird aufgefordert, das Handtuch auf den Boden an die Tür zu legen, damit kein Wasser ins Zimmer läuft. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und wurde ausschließlich am Tisch serviert. Aber wie so oft in Fort William zu dieser Jahreszeit: Zu teuer für das Gebotene.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Unfortunately a draw back of our central location is limited parking at the hotel, but like you said public parking is reasonably priced nearby. In Scotland especially we are not fortunate enough to have high temperatures enough to make air conditioning worth while - usually it is heaters we need!

The wifi password is printed on the little blue card that holds your keycard.It is also on the QR code on the door in the room.If you would have contacted reception, we would have let you know also.

Super Hotel
Das Hotel ist super. Tolles Ambiente und ein super Frühstück. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Parkplätze direkt vorm Hotel waren voll, aber es gibt direkt einen großen Parkplatz nur vier Gehminuten entfernt (5Pfund für 24 Stunden).

Sehr enges Zimmer
Neueres oder renoviertes Hotel. IWr hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer. Der Abstand zwischen Bettvorderseite und Möbel beträgt ca. 30-40cm. Keine Chance um einen grösseren Koffer offen zu platzieren. Das Hotel ist aber sauber und hat freundliches Personal.

Das Zimmer war liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet, es war eine große Überraschung für den schmalen Taler so hohe Qualität zu bekommen. Bademäntel und Netflix inklusive, geschweige denn vom hervorragendem essen.

Modernes Hotel mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten und leckerem Frühstück. Leider war das Bad nicht durchdacht (Mini Waschbecke; Dusche nur mit Vorhang, sodass das ganze Bad nass war; dunkle Fliesen und dunkler Duschvorhang aber keine Deckenleuchte in der Dusche)

Wir haben in der Gefängniszelle übernachtet und sie war für zwei Personenschon eher klein. Das Restaurant und das Personal sowie das Gebäude allgemein waren sehr einladend. Auch die Lage sar sehr zentral.

A warm welcome to both us and our small dog awaited us, the rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. It was a very short walk to shops, bars and restaurants and the water front. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay

This property was the only one left to book, and for a good reason. We booked into the suites and it was $550 CAD and was worth about $200. The diesel blowers blew diesel into our room the entire time. We couldn’t keep the windows open without the smell of diesel wafting though the suite. The beds were comfortable enough. We went down to breakfast and they didn’t have room for us. We paid $550 for a crappy room with no breakfast. The staff were short and unfriendly. I did not enjoy my experience here and would not come back.

I stayed in one of the cellars. It was a neat experience but the price I paid for the amenities was poor.the building itself is beautiful but I should have just spent a bit more for a larger room. The cellar was very small so much so I couldn’t turn around with my back pack. The showers are in a separate area you have to walk down the hall, just so others are aware. The worst part of the stay was a thin camping foam on a hard wood base. I’m only 110 lbs and I sank through and my hip bones were against the wood all night. I wouldn’t suggest those rooms to anyone but the others looked nice. Also no hair dryer in the room and I had to ask after which was inconvenient and someone had to bring it to me from the front

Rooms, especially the bathrooms were super tiny. Shower was barely enough to stand, and to stop the water not going everywhere they had these curtains which made the small shower very dark. It is ok as we stayed only one night.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The apartments are actually on a road behind the hotel, not inside the hotel. The apartment was spacious and perfect for our group of four. Quiet and clean with good amenities. We had free parking in front of the apartments. Would recommend if you need room for a family.

Stunning location, very clean, lovely staff in the main hotel. The apartments feel like a bit of an odd outpost/after thought and wasn't as four star as the main hotel. We had some maintenance issues with our apartment which were partly resolved while we were staying, though it was concerning that the cleaners hadn't reported any of them (particularly heavy radiator falling off the wall, bathroom door unable to open more than half way).

Excelente ubicación, accesible a todo a pie y muy cercano a la estación del tren. El desayuno estaba delicioso y muy completo, el personal demasiado amable. Nos quedamos en las habitaciones - celda, son algo pequeñas, pero las literas son muy cómodas y las amenidades de baño son muy buenas también, solo la escalera para subir a la cama de arriba estaba algo complicada, pero en general, todo excelente.

Dogs barking in the hallway at 6am. Paid over $300 CDN a night for no breakfast, queen sized bed, and a pullout bed from the couch. Every 8 to 10 minutes a blower would go off outside. I do not recommend this overyly priced hotel at all!

The hotel is modern, clean and tidy. Good location. Staff attitude in checking in not great. We had a breakdown on way here and i phoned forward to let them know we woukd be late. No parking spaces available on arrival ans wife had injury to leg that reduced her ability to walk. Staff member said "youll have to drop her off and park elsewhere" . Asked where i could get food at 945 pm, staff member sucked teeth shook head and pointed out a local restaurant which wasnt able to help. No direction to elsewhere. In street parking restricted and nearby car park very dark not many cars there no visible security or cctv. In summary hotel needs sufficient parking for guests. Staff attitude could have been better

Hi PaulI am sorry you found my attitude not great at check in.Firstly, my 'sucking in teeth' was more in sympathy as I know, as I live here that no restaurants serve food after 9pm, apart from Spice Tandoori & that was where I suggested you try.Parking - we have 10 spaces for 41 rooms so it is impossible for everyone to have a parking space - this is why we do not advertise parking as it is allocated on a first come, first served basis.I directed you to the overflow parking we suggest to all guests - The West End Carpark.To be honest, not many high street hotels have parking.What I said was ' you can drop your wife & bags off & take to the room before you move the car.I feel you had a very bad day with the car breaking down, then arriving at the hotel late to find no parking & no restaurants open, these things added to your already stressful day!I am glad you at least enjoyed your room.Many ThanksYvonne

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff are so friendly and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. My husband is disabled and this is the best room we have ever stayed in . The breakfast is really enjoyable , would recommend The Garrison and we will be back.

Great place to stay!
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at The Garrison. The room was very comfy, with plenty of space, modern and clean. The breakfast is great value for money and tastes incredible! The staff are highly accommodating and very friendly. I would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay in the area, but I’d say it’s also worth travelling for if you’re further afield too! Definitely planning another stay in the not too distant future.
