„The property was very cute. Especially the patio. Although we didn't use the amenities there such as the fire pit and the hammocks, it pretty much had everything we needed for a somewhat rustic weekend. I did like that the code to the door was just texted to us so we didn't have to really check in at any given time. „Great property!“

„I am absolutely amazed at how clean the cabin and bathrooms were. No paper towels you get a new cloth towel each time you wash your hands! Parking was tight on the top of the hill there is ample parking about 100 feet away. There is opportunity to make the “backyard” more than what it is. All in all stay here you won’t be disappointed!“

„Relaxing way to spend a weekend. Condo is directly on the Mississippi River. We were there to check out the eagles. Saw many right outside our door. We were in walking distance to restaurants, small shops and the National Eagle Center. Condo was very comfortable. Enjoyed the many upgrades. Owner did a nice job communicating. The checkin process was seamless. “

„Such a wondrous find. In town with my own near octogenarian mother for tests at the Mayo, she had absolutely no problems cruising around this absolutely gorgeous home with her walker. Space galore!! She was sure to point out the pinch pleated drapes and sheers, the original hardwoods, and the absolute down home feeling. In fact, she said she “could live here if my home wasn’t in Illinois.” We were only two but this space is phenomenal for groups of 2-12, or more.Less than 10 minutes from the ...

„The property was gorgeous! Went for several walks and just enjoyed the natural surroundings. The cabin itself was adorable and filled with family heirlooms and photos of the owners. Troy and Laurie were very attentive to any needs that popped up and even came over to service the air conditioner during our stay to make sure we stayed comfortable.Looking forward to visiting again during the winter to enjoy some cross country skiing!“

„My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. „We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay.“
