The cottage has a fridge and some plates and cutlery so we were able to make breakfast for ourselves. Everything was as described. The landscape is incredibly beautiful. „Es ist mehr eine Wohnung als ein Haus, man geht unten bei der Haustür rein und dann die Treppe hoch in ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile und Erker, von dem man den Strand sehen kann, unten und nebenan sind zwei weitere Unterkünfte. Daneben sind Schlafzimmer und Bad, super sauber und sehr stilvoll. Der Verwalter Seàn ist ein extrem hilfsbereiter, kompetenter Mann, der im Ort wohnt und immer prompt reagiert. Besser geht es nicht.“

„The cottage is located in a beautiful area. It is the perfect spot for kids as they can just be outdoors and you can go for nice walks and explore the fairy houses and the waterfall. Victor is a great host, very friendly and welcoming. We got to enjoy his homemade bread, honey and jam. Thank you for hosting us in cosy cottage and we would love to come back some day.“

It is a newly renovated and tastefully furnished holiday home with a large kitchen and a comfortable dining and living area. Two of the three bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, which we found really handy, the third bathroom with bathtub is located in the basement. „Great location, very very beautiful. The pod was smaller than expected, but most of it was there. For the money you pay, I would expect a bit more small things like a candle on the table, place to cook. The coffee machine was not working and it was not super clean, there were coffee marks next to the bed. For the rest, I would recommend people checking out this place as the area and the views are amazing!“

„This Ballybur is great. Gated, safe,quiet, clean, washer dryer a big big plus. Your own apartment on a long journey. Mel and Mark are great Host. We even shared a ride into Kilkenny to see a concert with them. Highly recommend staying here.“
