We were here on a 3-generation family vacation - my father in law has great interest in Civil War history and this home was perfectly situated to get to many sites easily. We all loved this house! „Second time staying for girls weekend away. Nice and roomy unfortunately we did have a small issue. Hot water tank went out on us. However, communication between house manager was on point!! The hot water tank was unable to be fixed during our stay as expected for a Saturday and Sunday. This will not stop us from enjoying this house again in the near future. “

We enjoyed grilling, relaxing around the fire pit and on the porch, and going for walks around the property. It’s out in the country so there’s privacy and quiet but it’s also so close enough to town if you’re looking for things to do. Also close to Cacapon State Park! We would definitely go back. “
