„We loved the old time experience of staying in a wagon with modern upgrades. Def a must visit in South Texas. We plan to come by here to either stay in the wagon or rent an rv. I love how they have gas grills, smoker, & campfires, too. The gentleman who helped my husband and I take a Polaroid with our camera was very accommodating. “

„We had the most amazing time!! We had swimming holes up and down stream!! Up stream was deeper for and better for my teen kids! We fished, kayaked and swam everyday we were there! Me and my husband loved the little coffee bar also! Got up and drank coffee on the outside deck by the river and seen some deer! It’s a beautiful place! We all slept very comfortably also!! (Pic was taken about a mile upstream when we kayaked down from mile marker 19) “

„We have been visiting The Frio for years! We have never been happier with a stay like Cabana Sol! Check in was a breeze! The house was clean as can be! Our entire crew loved the hiking trails, the teens especially! The AC was great! Short trip to Garner. The contact with the owner was super simple, and she responded very quickly! I am already going to message her to book our stay for next year. We truly could have been more pleased with our vacation. Usually we are ready to go home ...

„We stayed for two days with two adults and two teenagers to relax before the holidays. It was exactly what we needed and what was pictured in the listing. The property had great outdoor seating areas, view of the river, and the house was a great size for four people. It's also close to some of our favorite state parks for hiking. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back!“

„We were celebrating my son coming home on leave from the army, the house was fantastic and cozy, the patio was a great “dance floor” once the sun went down, the stairs down to the river were a bit scary but worth it! The only thing that could make this place better would be a pool! But honestly, it wasn’t missed! We had an amazing time, no one was bored, it was a perfect family retreat with a breath taking view “

„This is our 3rd time to stay at this property and we love it! There were 9 of us, 4 kids and 5 adults. The water is absolutely beautiful at this spot. The dam is close if you want a change of location to fish and swim. Bring a pop up and chairs and spend all day down at the water!“
