„My husband and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway just the two of us. It was exactly the relaxing country atmosphere we were looking for to reconnect without our children present. The only thing that could've made it better would've been a hot tub, but that would have just been extra decoration on an already deliciously decorated cake. „We are six senior kayakers who enjoyed three nights in this spacious, modern house on the Buckhannon River. This is a great choice if you are looking for a beautiful river view, listening to several species of birds, and don't mind the remote location. Not sure when the train runs, but we didn't hear it.“

„The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. „Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!“
