Even though there were many homes around it, the positioning of this one on the hill made it feel like we were in a much more secluded area, and we even had a few deer visitors in the backyard in the morning. The house was clean and comfortable with simple yet beautiful decor.“

„I stayed here to attend a Bridgerton Ball at the Senators Mansion. The place was easy to find, host responsive, clean, and absolutely adorable with its time era design/decor. I felt safe in the neighborhood. There was easy parking and entrance access. Lots of wonderful amenities. I would highly recommend!!“

„Great flat in the heart of town. Close to everything: restaurants, shopping, farmer's market, etc. The flat was well equipped for our long weekend stay, with a large kitchen, comfy beds, and a nice bathroom. I was especially thankful that the air conditioning worked so well, given that it was typical hot August weather. The owner was quick to respond and helpful when I had questions. I will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Marietta!“

„We love staying right downtown and that's what this apartment was. Convenient parking, comfy bed, nice big shower. We didn't use the kitchen at all. Stairs and a long hallway once you get into the building, but very well lit and safe.“

„Beautiful historic home. Very clean, very comfortable. A/C works great, luxury bedding and inviting front porch to enjoy morning coffee. Host was easy to communicate with and check in/ check out was a breeze. Highly recommend & will stay here again next time we visit Marietta. “

„This unique house is in a great area. Within walking to several historic sites, river, and beautiful homes. The house is older but very functional for our needs. Front porch nice to sit. There is traffic noise from the corner but you get accustomed to it. We enjoyed our time there. “

„Stayed two night as we were there for a family reunion. It was just me and my son, but would be perfect for large families and ppl with little ones. They had a lot that we just didn’t use. The property is nice and quiet, if I had any negatives it would be they are not the most comfortable beds, other than that, excellent for the price.“

„Our group of eight friends set off from New Martinsville, WV aboard a pontoon boat, cruising the Ohio River toward Marietta. We docked at the Marietta Boat Club, and from there, it was just a short walk to The Buckley House—perfectly located in the heart of town.The timing couldn’t have been better.
