„The property is clean it has a lovely view. We will stay again when the weather is nicer. The only complaint I have, it is not really a complaint, but the front door does not close properly, but maybe due to all the rain/moisture. But we loved it here“

„Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, with great views. This property lives up to its name, "Deer Haven Lodge". Deer roam the grounds freely. The house is cozy, well maintained and organized, and has beautiful decor. The owner provided necessary information, and we were able to communicate with her throughout our stay. We had a great time. Thank you!“

„The house was lovely & the kids enjoyed the hot tub every evening while we sat around the fire. Shopping, kayaking, paddle boarding, bobsledding & curling in Lake Placid; a hike & whitwater raft ride at Ausable Chasm, hiking to the top of Whiteface and a day in Canada - there was something for everyone.“

„We really enjoyed ourselves! The property is perfect for relaxing, loved the screened in porch overlooking the river!!! Even when it was chilly ( did mIt’s close to all the lake placid attractions y morning yoga out there… we enjoyed the fire pit outside, the sauna was awesome!!! All the furniture was comfy, and kitchen was well appointed ( we did a lot of cooking!“

It was the perfect setting for our group to relax, read, and unwind in a beautiful setting, immaculate home with such care to details and decor. The hot tub was also a highlight of this property and we were very close to town and spas for additional outings. Five stars from the Between The Wine Book Club! “

„The house was perfect for a large party. Everyone had their own room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked so we could make breakfast each morning. A short walk to town. Josh was easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!“

"Unser Zimmer lag am Ende des Ganges, hier kam nur ein sehr geringer Teilnder Frischluft an, so dass wir drei Tage in unserem eigenen "Mief" verbringen mussten ohne ausreichende Sauerstoffzufuhr. Wir mussten daher mehrmals die Zimmertür zum Flur öffnen, um nicht zu ersticken. Die Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen. Auch wurde die feuchte Luft nach dem Duschen nicht abgesaugt, so dass die Feuchtigkeit am Spülkasten der Toilette kondensierte und Fützen auf dem Boden bildete. Die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer war auch nicht in Ordnung. Schön war die Außenanlage mit tollen Sitzmöglichkeiten am See."
