„We spent a fantastic vacation at this lovely cottage. Even before we started our journey from Germany, communication was very kind and helpful. On arrival the welcome was very warm and nice. We found everything we needed in the cottage and the sight in front of it was great and peaceful. Our son (and we) loved the horses, sheeps and other animals around the farm. „The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again.“

„Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend.“

„Wir waren eine Woche im Juli zu sechst in dem Cottage. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, frische Blumen und Wein zur Begrüßung sorgten von Anfang an für ein Willkommen. Das Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns der schöne Grillplatz und der Kamin. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, die Anfahrt ein wenig abenteuerlich, weil die Farm abgelegen am Ende eines Stichwegs liegt. Von dort aus sind aber in kurzer Zeit viele schöne Ziele erreichbar, Wanderungen lassen sich direkt vom Haus ...

"The location of the property, at a motorway services is good for those considering a single night stopover, but not for those needing to travel around the area, due to the need to first drive to the next junction to exit. The room was very basic, was very fopist smelling, as the heating was off and room cold, and the water pipes stank. As soon as I opened the bathroom door the putrid stench hit me. I had no desire to fill a kettle for a drink and no desire to eat or drink on the premises after this experience. I had a feeling that the hotel was in need of renovation but that money was unavailable."
