„Great house, very clean, but small property. Fits only about 10 people (not the advertised 20-30) overnight“

„The host was extremely gracious and made my mom dinner while we were out of town in New York for a couple of days during our stay. I had made other arrangements for her while we were away since my mom does not drive but the host went above and beyond. The walking trails around the property were wonderful, we walked 3 miles pretty much every morning that we were there around the wooded trails. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the pond behind the house.“

„We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.“

„Super, super cute mid-century mod renovated cozy house, walking distance to many things in Colonial Beach. Located just off the main road, this is a great stay. Very comfortable, so beautifully decorated, and great outdoor space. The neighborhood is a little strange because it's a mix of a lot of older homes, located behind a 7-11, BUT it is just a humble area and we felt safe. „The Loft at Jackson Lake exceeded every expectation! Doug and Vicki are fantastic hosts and they’ve built a wonderful property at a really unique setting within the Washington DC area. House had all of the essentials, and both bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms of any rental I've ever stayed in.
