„We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cottage very much. Sunsets were beautiful (see photo) and accommodations were great. Only issue we had was the coffee maker was not advertised as a Keurig. Minor setback was quickly resolved with a visit to the local Walmart . “

„This is a very well appointed modern cottage that was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The little lake was so nice and peaceful that we ended up not trailering the boat over to Lake James for the last day like we had planned, but just stayed here instead. „Perfect location for our entire family to come together and enjoy a vacation. This home is amazing, with everything we needed to make memories... plenty of dishes, everything for meal preparation, multiple refrigerators (18 people need a lot of groceries!) and lots of spaces for family members to gather and hang out. „We had a great time staying in Emily’s lake house. Pictures portray it accurately. Inside of home has been completely renovated and is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Can’t beat the location right on the water. Short drive to Walmart, Meijer, Kohls among others. Nice choice of restaurants nearby. Snow lake connects to Lake James, and a few other Lakes. We spent time at the sandbar and went tubing. Would definitely stay here again! Kids kept asking if we could stay here again next year! “

„The pictures do not do this place justice. The cottage is super cute and very secluded. The natural plantings and meadows with the mowed paths make this a nature lovers dream! Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!“

„Do not underestimate the size of this house. It is small but has a perfect layout. Kitchen is equiped and organized with everthing you need. The bathroom is very nice. The two bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. We slept very well during our stay. The living room and dining room provide plenty of space to eat and relax. Spend some time on the deck in the evening or down at the shore for a nice evening camp fire. We will definilty add this house to our vacation schedule next ...

„The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. „This home has it all. We never left the property for the 4 days we were there. Very clean, plenty of towels, linens, both upstairs and downstairs kitchens had everything you would need for cooking. The rental had plenty of spices and condiments for items that we forgot to bring. Access across all three levels of the home was easy, especially to access the lower level (you could drive to the lower level to unload or load). Plenty of parking. „Since we have kids in 3 states it’s challenging to get gifts home after our Christmas so about 5 years ago we decided to just pay for our family vacation and that would be everyone’s Christmas. Making memories and not having things that break or your outgrow. We had a lovely time at Lake James and hope to come back in 2 years “
