„The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day.“

„Die erste Nacht nach unserer Ankunft in Sri Lanka haben wir in der Villa Shade verbracht. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit offener Gartendusche. Es ist alles sehr sauber und der Eigentümer sehr bemüht. Die City von Negombo ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von der Villa Shade entfernt. Tuk Tuk und Taxi wurden organisiert, wenn erforderlich. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka.“

„We had an amazing stay here. The staff was exceptional and went far to help us out with everything. The room was large and clean and had an amazing view of the ocean. Hotel arranged a turtle snorkeling with a local guide that was a really good experience. The breakfast was good and we also had lunch at the hotel two days. „Beautiful, self contained accommodation in Galle Fort that provided a nice home away from home. We stayed here for 2 nights 26-27 Dec). Nicely tucked away near the entrance of the fort and behind the main streets so away from most of the hustle and noise, though still central to the main Fort attractions.
