„This was a great house and experience. Very close to ACU and also only a 7 minute drive to HSU. Check in was a breeze and house was very clean and updated. We only needed it for 2 people, but it would easily accommodate a large group. We felt very safe during our stay- felt right at home. The host was very quick to reply when needed. I plan to stay again as we travel back and forth to Abilene to visit our daughter in college. “

„It is super clean — better than a five-star hotel. Everything smells fresh. Each room is very spacious and comes with a large, separate bathroom. The area is very quiet. I chose to stay here since hotels downtown cost about $300–$400 per night. This place caught my eye because of its perfect 10/10 rating, and my experience proved it true. If I could give it an 11, I would. I will definitely come back!“

„This was the perfect setting for our Family Gathering. Ages ranged from 2 yrs to 80 yrs. There was something for everyone to enjoy, whether it was the pool, a beautiful and relaxing interior and exterior, games for the kids and just being in the quiet of the country. Easy directions to get there. We had opportunity to meet the owner, who made sure we had everything we needed. Our host was attentive and quick to respond. The Barn was stocked with everything we needed. EVERYONE in attendance ...

„Perfect access to the lake. Perfect size for me and the wife, but would have easily accommodated our two kids if we would have brought them. Everything was clean and comfy. We didnt get in till late the first night, and no one followed our stay, so the host let us extend our check out time to give us that little extra time we needed before we were ready to go back to the grind.“

"Cleanliness was not up to expectations. The bathroom was ok but after housekeeping came in the second day, the carpet still had the same dirt on and the window sill sported a thick layer of dust. This hotel is pet-friendly, floor 2 absolutely reeked of ‚wet dog‘. We were on the 4th floor, I just noticed the smell on the 2nd when I used the guest laundry. Staff was very friendly and helpful, also when the guest washer broke down. Breakfast was very good, lots of warm and cold items to choose from. Our room faced the parking lot. Every night, thousands of birds gathered in the trees and made a lot of noise most of the night. This is clearly not the hotel‘s fault, but be aware, ask for a room facing the pool or bring earplugs."
