Built by the fifth president of the Singer Sewing Machine company as a hunting lodge in the early 1900's. it has changed owners several times and is currently owned by a group of Europeans who preserve castles. It has a large suite on the third floor that is available to stay in overnight for a fee.

„We really enjoyed our stay — the house was beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. The view was stunning, and we loved all of the activities available nearby. „This is a really nice place to stay for a vacation. It's located in a golf course with woods and ponds around, very quiet and beautiful. The living room, as showed in the listed picture, has large windows bring the natural view around into your eyes directly. Room is very clean, nicely renovated in modern style. „This was our third year in a row staying here and it will not be our last. Amazing location, amazing property, always clean and comfortable. Its a short walk to downtown, you are right on the water to access your boat, and Carnagie marina is located directly across from the property, making parking your vehicle and boat trailer so easy and painless. The owners are always responsive and helpful. I cannot recommend this propery enough! We love it and look forward to coming here every summer. “

„What a fantastic place! We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful cabin. It is spacious, so comfortable and spotless! Loved drinking morning coffee on the screened in porch and was visited by a cute little fox that skittered into the woods. Kitchen is very well stocked. Beds super comfortable. Easy check in and communication with owner. Can't wait to return for a longer stay!“
