There was a kayak already there but we brought our own and out on the water we went. The week consisted of swimming off the dock, fishing off the dock while the boys took the boat out—- you can park the boat at the dock or up in the grass and reading on the dock. „I have to say it was everything the description and other reviews said it was. The gym had enough to get a great workout, the sauna was a new and refreshing experience, as was the cold plunge. Lake view and dock area was very relaxing. The food in the area was great with some good experiences. Bungalow and amenity’s was clean and well kept. „From June 3rd,2025 to June 7th, 2025 with and extra day. First off the home is beautiful spacious for a family with kids. Stores are not far walmart is just 6 min away. We came out for my step son Army Graduation which was 40 min out. The home needs a bit of update some water damage, toilet downstairs was broke upstairs door had a hole. Screened in building was great for sitting out in the rainstorm we had with frogs croaking… the pier was great for watching the sunset and herons flying by… interior had everything we needed… comfortable beds for recharging the batteries…. Cute local small towns to explore and Dreher Island park great for a hike.“

„Peaceful and altogether beautiful cove. Though the house is beautiful you’ll probably find yourself relaxing on the back deck. It was my favorite part of the entire property. If I’m ever in search of another lake vacation property I’ll definitely be booking here. “

„This small cabin right on the lake is exactly how it is pictured on VRBO. It was extremely clean and communication with Candy was immediate and helpful. We did have a little difficulty with the front door lock but Candy fixed it remotely right away. The kitchen needs more drinking glasses. The dog pen is fantastic and shaded and the dogs enjoyed being able to run free. All in all, it was a great long weekend getaway with the grandkids who wore themselves out jumping off the deck and swimming. ...
