„Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. „Die Wohnung ist groß, mit einem schönen Ausblick, gut funktionierender Aircon und sehr guter Wlan-Verbindung. Die Küche ist prima ausgestattet. Man kann von hier Dominica gut erkunden. Ein Auto ist aber empfehlenswert. Ganz herzlichen Dank nochmals an Leonard, der uns nicht nur ein Auto organisiert hat, sondern uns auch bei allen anderen Fragen geholfen hat. „Wunderschöne, nicht mehr ganz junge Villa mit Charakter im Urwald Dominicas. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Das Konzert des Urwalds und der Sternenhimmel sind atemberaubend. Für jede Tageszeit ist eine Veranda mit traumhafter Aussicht vorhanden. Ginette ist eine wundervolle und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die uns einige wertvolle Tipps geben konnte. Ihr liebevoll angelegter und gepflegter Garten bleiben uns in Erinnerung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.“

„Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. “

"Zimmer zur Checkin Zeit nicht fertig. War nicht der Einzigste. Checkin eher unfreundlich. Nur auf aktive Nachfrage gabs einen Cappuccino als Kompensation. Das Wichtigste war die Frage wann man das Hotel am Abreisetag verlaesst. Zweimal versucht im Restaurant zu essen. Trotz gaehnender Leere weder Karte bekommen noch gefragt worden ob ich essen oder was trinken will. Bin dann gegangen. Und das Hotel hat Vip-Access. Frag mich wie der zustande kam. Nur im Notfall wieder. Wobei das Zimmer im Neubau zeitgemaess war. Nuetzt aber nix wenn Rest net stimmt. "
