„Wir waren über unseren 25. Hochzeitstag dort. Nach großen Problemen mit der Autovermietung sind wir sehr spät am Cottage angekommen. Die Vermieterin war durchgängig in engem Kontakt mit uns und hat uns bezüglich der Problematik mit dem Auto sehr geholfen und uns einen befreundeten Taxifahrer vermittelt, der uns wirklich günstig gefahren hat In der nähen umgebung ist ein kleiner Pfad in einen Wald, der uns eine wunderschön-mystische Umgebung aufgezeigt hat. „Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir das Haus zu erst ein wenig für uns erkunden, da Check In über die Schlüsselbox erfolgte. Was für uns unglaublich angenehm war. Jim, der „Verwalter“ vor Ort stellte sich später kurz vor. Sehr diskret, nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich. Das Haus begrüßte uns bereits wohlig warm vorgeheizt mit einem selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Vielen Dank hierfür :) Da wir über Weihnachten blieben, wurde sogar der Wohnbereich geschmückt. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!“
