„This was a magical experience. The thought that the hosts put into every detail of our stay made this a memorable and nostalgic getaway. My mom and I will never forget this incredibly beautiful place. The host kept in touch regulary asking if there's anything they could do to make our stay better, but without being intrusive. We felt free with adequate privacy, comfort and safety. Will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone we know. Very grateful to have discovered this gem. 💎“

„Very disappointed. We booked four nights at Ghost Country Cottage, but ended up cutting our stay short after one night. The cottage is located next to a gas station and caravan park, and is currently in the middle of a construction site. This was not clear from the online listing and photographs. The cottage was spacious and well equipped, but the shower didn't work properly and the cleanliness of the cottage was only OK. „The view was great but the lake was frozen so a little different I think than if it was summer. Was cool seeing people drifting on the frozen lake though. Rooms were great, good sizes, awesome large main bedroom, noise from the living does carry upstairs as there is no door to separate it. I thought downstairs had a bigger living room of it own, so was not expecting that, but it worked out just fine. Open living, dining, kitchen was great for everyone hanging out.“

„He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs. „The tipi was great! Lots of room and the heater made it cozy and warm. The grounds are fantastic! So many little paths to wander and the river is beautiful. Great access to hiking trails and very close to Kananaskis Village. The staff were very friendly and helpful.“
