„We had a wonderful girls trip at the Slow Go. It was a little tricky to find, as the entrance isn’t immediately visible especially in the dark but once we got familiar with the surroundings it was no problem! The property was lovely, great fire pit, well-stocked and comfy cabin. Being close to the highway meant it got a bit noisy at times but not bad at all. The host was wonderful to communicate with when we had to troubleshoot a situation with the lock and fixed it right away. Would recommend ...

„This place was simply perfect for our family of 6. It was 12 minutes from the ferry in Nanaimo, it had a BBQ, a backyard for the kids to play in, it was near a ton of great parks, and the views were spectacular. The only complaint I really have it sometimes you could hear the owners above, they had a small child and you could hear the stomping and crying. Property owner was incredibly nice but only one of them spoke English! Otherwise it was truly an incredible experience and I would come back ...

Be prepared to jiggle the door lock - it did work and then we got the hang of it!Also, as they mention there is evening noise - not loud, just a bit of walking back and forth.We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again!The surrounding forest is beautiful, and the view is lovely.“

„The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.“
