„The accommodation was fantastic (we were even surprised with cake for coffee). The cottage also left nothing to be desired. The surroundings are super. A great chance find for us was the castle and the associated garden in Birr (about 10 minutes drive) also recommendable are the pubs in Banagher. We would unreservedly recommend the accommodation to our friends.“

„We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million.“

Colette, our terrific host, provided warm hospitality, ideas of places to visit and excellent homemade sugar cookies. The farm dogs made sure we were extra welcome. It's hard to overstate the charm and the beauty and quiet of the location.“

You are in the center to all of Ireland. Beautiful views … we had sheep out side our door. The house was spotless and had everything you needed and then some. The grounds were also outstanding. „Out in county but close to everything. This home was beautiful, everything we could need was provided! The living spaces were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bedrooms were beautiful, it was our own private luxe hotel, but just felt like a peaceful home. Caithriona welcomed us like family and made sure she was always available should we need her, she even gave us some great suggestions on places to visit. We could not ask for a better vacation stay.“
