„Excellent. It felt like home! “

„We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!“

„Although a short stay, we absolutely loved this property!! The house was beautiful and the property was amazing! We rented the pontoon boat as well and had a wonderful time! It was especially nice sitting out by the water with the firepit at night! Would definitely recommend staying here.“

„Just spent another amazing week at Tropical Paradise with friends and family. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. We are already planning next summers trip to Tropical Paradise again! “

„The house was great! It was very spacious for the 10 of us and very clean! The game was a great bonus that everyone had so much fun with. The boat dock was great for kayaking and tubing. The creek was so peaceful to kayak on. We rented a boat for one of the days at a near by marina and had an awesome day on Lake Gaston tubing and swimming. There was great restaurants near by and the Food Lion was very close for a dinner at home on the grill. Very nice shopping down town Littleton with a great ...

„Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating. „We had a great week (July 2025)! Perfect size house for our family of 6. House was well appointed and maintained. Excellent outdoor areas (boathouse and patio). Fun game room/tv room in basement. Good beds and baths. Loved location near Eaton Ferry Marina and mid-lake. One small downside is the shallow/mucky water off the dock, but you only have to go out a short way to get to great spots for swimming/floating, which we did all day. Owner was very responsive to all my messages, including ...
