„We throughly enjoyed our stay... sometimes you get where your going and something that was in the pictures doesn't work, not here! Everything worked from the hot tub to the bbq and everything in between. Lots of yard games for the kids, beautiful garden, oh and my favorite is the outdoor shower under the stars. Definitely not disappointed and we'll be sure to visit again in the future. “

„Beautiful spot. Had a great bunch of days with our family here. The place was exactly as we expected it, no surpises or letdowns. We had great weather so we could do lots of swimming and fishing. The water level at the end of the dock was 2 or 3 feet deep which made us feel comfortable that our kids could all touch and not have to worry about one getting hurt. „If you are looking for a campsite athmosphere, and historic cabins, meaning old, badly maintained and small cabins (we stayed in Tumble Inn), then this is the place to stay. The surroundings are beautiful, the lake water is clear and brown (due to the woods) and hiking trails are easy to reach. Positive: after initial complaint, the friendly staff spent two hours to clean the cabin and the windows, which improved our stay a lot. “

But the Cottage needs more cleaning (the fridge was dirty, we found rotten tomatos in it, neded to clean first), found Mouse droppings under the kitchen sink, mouse bites in our Toast. And it needs more love. The nice big chairs in the garden are rotten and falling apart. Looks like nobody cares about this Cottage anymore “

„Our stay at Steve's cottage last week was nothing short of magical. The highlight, without a doubt, was the **absolutely spectacular sunset view over Penn Lake, right from the private dock. Winding down each evening watching the sky explode in color over the calm water was an unforgettable experience – a view truly rare to find and worth the trip alone!The lake itself felt alive and welcoming. „The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience. Great private quiet spot in the valley! Thanks Josh and family! “

"I stayed here with a friend for just one night. At first glance we were a bit shocked from the hotels outside appearance. But our rooms were really clean and cozy. We had a very good night and could even leave our car at the parking lot after check-out for another two hours to explore the city of North Bay. The breakfast area was undergoing a renovation. So no chance to get any breakfast at all or even a coffee. But there is a coffee machine in the rooms and several coffee shops just around the corner. Nothing could beat the price!"
