„This is the fourth time (at least) we've stayed at the property. Always clean, always easy, always supplied. A joy to have a place to stay in the middle of everything!“

„Place was great. Was close to the wedding venue, so was easy to get everywhere. “

„The house has a very large open living room upstairs, plenty of bedrooms for us. The backyard is large, although most of it fairly steep slope towards the lake. The lake was up several feet when we stayed, so the beach in the photos was under water. Pella is a 7-8 minute drive away. Overall we liked the property.“

„We had a great weekend relaxing and playing in the water. The cabins were so clean. There was a great variety of water toys for the whole family to enjoy. The kids loved the paddle boat, kayaks and the pool noodles. We spent a lot of time together jumping off the docks and floating around. The fire pit area was wonderful.“

„We had 6 family members traveling from California, Georgia and Pennsylvania to visit family in a nearby small town. This historic home in Pella was perfect for our stay. We all had private rooms and the common areas were spacious enough to accommodate us all. We walked into downtown Pella daily for the restaurants and shopping, super convenient! Would definitely book again! “

„What an amazing cabin! Tranquil and serene. This is exactly what we needed to escape the everyday hustle and bustle. Julie and Chris were amazing hosts. They were very accommodating and friendly. As a matter of fact they provided a free carafe of wine to welcome us to their wonderful cabin retreat. We highly recommend staying at this cabin. You will not be disappointed.“

„Very nice place that was very clean and up-to-date. Offers lots of places to enjoy family. Nearby Lake Rathbun is beautiful with great fishing, this house has large outdoor fire pit with seating and large picnic table with umbrella and a wrap-around deck. Inside is cosy and comfortable. It’s a great getaway place!“
