„Property is located very conveniently in the middle of town. Very short drives to anywhere needed to go. House was very clean and stocked with necessities. While the surrounding houses are not as updated, the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful at night. Very easy check-in, and great communication from host.“

„Loved the decor, clealiness of interior and all the rooms were as pictured. The two tvs in the other rooms did not work which was disappointing as lounging in bed was going to be a plus. The carport could have been cleaned off but the host was very attentive in responding and was nice. Was unaware of no cable but WIFI worked well“

„I was in Hattiesburg for my two children’s graduation from USM. The house was termite infested. The floor was falling in due to the termites. The backyard was very grown over filled with bugs. The garage door would not open. The house had a terrible smell. I could go on and on. The big disappointment was THE PROPERTY HOST. I was called a liar and constantly harassed by property host and the neighbor Van Lewis! Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER RENTING THIS HOUSE!“

„A nice, quiet little get away. Very comfortable and clean. The only thing that put a damper on my stay was a power outage due to a passing storm which is of course outside the host’s control. Loved it!“

„We have family in the Tylertown area and usually stay at their place when we come for a visit. This time we decided to rent a place for the two nights and found Colbys River Retreat. Jolla was an awesome host. Greeted us to show us the functuins in the rv and gave us a bag of fresh picked blueberries. She was incredibly nice the rv was clean and had eerything you woukd need. Price was great. There arent any hotels in Tylertiwn area. The river with its great sand bars and tubing is awesome. If ...
