„This was our 2nd time to stay at this house! The reason we picked this house was that it is the best house to stay on a family vacation! The communication with the owner is 10 stars. Steve is a wonderful host! We enjoyed every bit of this stay, the sites, the house itself was amazing! „We cannot say enough about how perfect The Lakehouse was for us. We had a group of Lady Anglers at Lake Limestone for a Women’s Bass Tour Tournament. The house was perfectly located near the marina, had enough space for the eight of us, the back porch was delightful, and the dock was amazing. We even had enough parking for four trucks with boats. We highly recommend this place. “

„Home is lovely and in a prime lake spot. It’s private and right off the water. Perfect for hosting a family getaway. Plenty of space for our party of 7, all adults and one toddler. We even got some fishing in and just floated the lake before coming in and having some food on the grill. The home is clean and decorated well. „Our stay was nothing but amazing. My 5 year old had so much fun running around the trees and my dog enjoy playing with the 2 dogies in the property. The cabin is really clean and perfectly decorated. We can’t wait to come back in August! “

„Great time. TX Railroad ride was fun with the guide we had. Sheps BBQ was excellent…great bbq and fried catfish! and large servings!! Very quiet location in the country. Enjoyed our visit with friends at the cabin just talking, eating and playing Rook. “

„We had 1 infant and 14 adults in town for a Fighting Texas Aggie graduation on 5/17/25 and we all stayed at Whoop Acres. Communication prior to arrival, was great with the property manager and Fred, the owner. They were very accommodating and check in was extremely simple with the detailed instructions. The house had everything we needed and provided a big place for all of us to gather after graduation. Great memories were made. Whoop Acres is an excellent place to stay!“
