„Spectacular stay here at this Lake George VRBO property. The accommodation suited our needs as we are an extended family of 19 from various parts of the country. We sought a location with a minimum of 8 bedrooms on the water and this property did not disappoint. In addition, we rented the boat for the week.A few minor issues with the premises, hopefully the owners will correct, mainly the lighting and handrails leading to/from each house are not very well maintained. „Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. “

„We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.“

„Everything was exactly as advertised and presented . Very clean home , with everything you need . Quick ride to anything you need as well as the town of Lake George . The river is extremely pretty for views and walking by. There’s a cute park right down the road too . Would definitely go back , thank you !“

„First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!“

„We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront retreat. The place was spotless, modern, and well-stocked with everything we needed - it exceeded our expectations. The view from the private deck was absolutely stunning, overlooking the lake - perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The staff onsite was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of (especially Stephanie). "The room was so dirty that the hotel should have been closed. We photographed everything! There were bed bugs! Mold in the ventilation! Dirty smeared mattresses! The floor was sticky and there were dried drinks stains. There were splashes of dirt on all the walls, everywhere! The bathroom was a horror and super disgusting! Toilet dirty, paint chipped off the walls. Shower defective and did not work! Dirty sink! We had booked the room for 2 nights but left immediately after the first night. This was an imposition and the health department and travel department should close this hotel! Wyndham shame on you for not living up to your name. We are happy to make all photos available!"
