"Nice and functional hotel in a not so nice part of Tokyo. The big TV supports streaming from your mobile device, but otherwise the only foreign program is BBC. There is a selection of on-demand videos but I didn't try them. The room is sufficient and the bed comfortable. "

"Das Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Ikebukuro und ist somit perfekt geeignet für Ausflüge innerhalb von Tokyo oder auch zu den nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Zimmer sind schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Besonders praktisch ist, dass man einen Flughafen-Bus von Haneda oder auch von Narita buchen kann, der direkt vor dem Hotel (und umgekehrt) hält. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, ein Frühstück hatten wie nicht gebucht, daher können wir hierzu keine Infos geben. "

"We had a room in the top floor with breakfast included. To be honest, the hotel is ok, nothing more. Compared to the Prince Hotel in Hiroshima (which is excellent) it is only a bit above average. The breakfast is just standard and super rushed atmosphere, lots of people, loud and no special food and poor choice of drinks. The view from our room was amazing, Sunshine Mall is directly connected with the hotel, you can leave your luggage after checkout. For Tokyo this hotel is surely good and affordable, but if you just want to stay in a clean and nice room then there are better and cheaper options."

Personal spricht kaum englisch, aber sie übersetzen alles mit Handy, dadurch kein Problem. Stadt nah, es ist zum Empfehlen. Stadtviertel sicher."
