„Except for the steep driveway everything about the property, the views, the interiors, the amenities and the neighborhood were stunning. The tread mill in the garage is an indication that everything was over the top. We have been everywhere and this is a seven star property on a five star scale.“

„Nice property. Garden is a little unkempt, and the shower is basic. We had problems with a window, and had no response from the property manager, but hopefully this has now been sorted. I also would have liked more information about the bins, i.e. which was the recycling bin, what could go in it and when it gets collected. But all minor points“

Birdsong during the day, with many fantails, swallows and bellbirds together with a snowcapped backdrop. „I booked this place for a girly weekend with 2 of my friends. Check In process was very clear and easy, house was clean and tidy and the views were absolutely amazing. My only gripe would be that the place has a slightly steep path up to the front door and a few uneven steps. When we went out the first evening we noticed the security lights didn't work which made it extremely dangerous getting down the steps and path. I notified the manager but they weren't really interested in coming to fix ...

„Wonderful stay at Cubby House in Kaikoura! Leanne and Richard have created an oasis complete with an amazing view and friendly-furry-4-legged greeters. We traveled in NZ for over 2 weeks and Cubby House was the only place we stayed that had this level of charm, the most amazing coffee machine ever, and a fridge full of wonderful breakfast ingredients. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly be back.“
