„My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250 ...

„We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run ...

„This property was quite wonderful. Nice and quiet. An abundance of wildlife visited while we were there. Deer with their babies chipmunks, plenty of birds. I even had a coyote run across the backyard. The property was literally 20 minutes from everywhere. A nice added touch was that there was only TV in the bedrooms. The sun room and deck were great to just sit and relax. Highly recommend booking this property if you just want to get away for a weekend wind down “

„This house is the perfect place for family bonding. Our extended family came together from NJ, FL, VA, MD and NC. The original intent was to check off a Bucket List item to hike 20 miles on the AT. That was accomplished but the real reward was enjoying all the house amenities afterwards. Lounging in the heated plunge pool was great for the tired muscles and then sitting around the fire pit for everyone to share their experiences on the trail brought lots of laughs and commiserating!“

„The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.“
