Gleich am ersten Tag wurden wir von der ganzen Familie so herzlich begrüßt, dass man sich gleich wie zuhause gefühlt hat. Laurel gab uns jede Menge Tipps für unsere Ausflüge und wir bekommen Obst aus eigenem Anbau und selber gemachtes Bananenbrot als Verpflegung mit. „Cozy unit with a good location. 40 minutes from volcano national park. Close to downtown Hilo. Be sure to try Hawaiian Style Cafe around the corner and Pineapples. Ohana Ranch is a great place for quad rides & some Hawaiian history. Vivian was a great host. Always available to answer any questions. “

„Nice studio with a king bed and a kitchen with everything you need for a short vacation. A cute small Lanai with a chain of lights and a cozy hammock. The host was quickl and reliably available when needed. Short drive to downtown hilo and the beaches are also a few minutes away. Everything was in order.“

„Tolle, große Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Hat alles was man braucht und mega gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft in Hilo. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 5-10 Minuten in Hilo Downtown und bei Supermärkten. Absolute Weiterempfehlung ! :)“

„I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. “

„Great private location, quiet and beautiful place to relax but close to activities. We cooked most of our meals there in the little kitchen which provided most of the essentials. The washer and dryer was perfect for our week stay. The room stayed cool with the extra fans. We definitelywill be returning. “

„The apartment is really nice, clean and functional. Kitchen was enough equiped. Pool was ok. A small inconvenience is to park, as the back parking lot that is closer to the apartment require permit, and the only spot available are far away on the front parking lot.. The main problem is regarding the neighborhood and the feeling of safety. Lot of homeless in the area. The parking is full of trash and wild cats everywhere.“
