„The cabin is a quiet oasis in the mountains of West Virginia. It is conveniently located near wonderful nature destinations of Northern WV to include Seneca Rocks & Cavern, Blackwater Falls and Pine Knob. We had deer great us daily and enjoyed sightings of turkey and hawks on the property. Although surrounded by nature, it's easy to get to Rt 33, 28 and 220 making it easy to navigate to any adventure. The cabin was spotless and is an ideal retreat.“

„We booked for a sibling birthday retreat- traveling from Texas, NC and Va. The house was quaint, comfortable ( chairs on porch not so much- would have liked rocking chairs as advertised as the weather was perfect for spending time there). A few electrical glitches typical for older homes-plugs in guesthouse were wonky and couldn’t seem to get enough light. The plantings and yard were great sitting on the rocks by the stream watching hummingbirds feed was particularly restful. I’d certainly spend ...

„What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!“

„The house was lovely and so comfortable. We loved the charm of the property and the updated kitchen. The location was great for access to the Homestead and the local restaurants. It was nice that the bathrooms were not inside any bedrooms so accessible to all. I would definitely stay at the Manse again if I go back.“
