„What a beautiful house and property! Darrell, the host, is a great, hard working person who we really enjoyed talking with. The house and property met our needs and allowed for us to have a great family vacation. Do keep in mind that you are located in the middle of nature so there will be lots of bugs and wildlife. The fresh eggs and other surprises that Darrell brought us made our trip even a little more special. “

„We thought the cottage was quiet and secluded. Everything was easily accessible and the porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The firepit was far enough from the house to not make everything smell Smokey. Wildlife was beautiful to include a skink (lizard), deer, cat and a screech owl at night. The Lakeside Cafe at the end of the road was absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing and cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles were scrumptious before heading out to the caves. “

„We think that this is the most perfect, scenic, comfortable and clean place we've ever stayed! The pool was nice and clean as well. The hosts were so friendly, inviting and generous. The fresh eggs, bacon, toast and coffee were so good. It was the best place to take some time off and relax from the everyday hustle! We'll definitely come back! “

„We loved everything about the Log Cabin at Nolin Lake. The cabin felt very cozy yet had plenty of room for a family of 12. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed and then some. Had plenty for kids to do, video and board games, puzzles and an outdoor rope swing. Loved sitting on the back porch, with plenty of seating. Would have been fun to use the fire ring, but we had 90 degree days. Convenient in that it had a restroom on every floor. Would definitely like to come back ...

„The house was clean, the pool was lovely and we had everything we needed to be comfortable.“

„Our hosts were wonderful. Great communication, clear instructions. The house was immaculate and treats were left for our dog . We enjoyed the yard , the hot tub and all the amenities the house afforded. We visited Mammoth Cave and other attractions during our stay.“

"After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. Friendly service, at Dinner time a bit hectic for the reasons mentioned before. Three and a half stars ***1/2* "
