„Quiet cottage in the woods, solar powered with a generator. Very peaceful and relaxing. Walk to the dock is fairly short. We brought a collapsible wagon, to tote chairs, cooler, and fishing rods , had no issues with the wagon on the trail. Highly recommend! If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place, this is your place! We will be back“

„This gem of a cabin is tucked away from the main road and if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life then definitely give this a try. The place was clean and everything you need is available. Bryan, the host provided excellent instructions on checking in and checking out. Also, the place is 30 minutes from Longwood University so if you decide you want to explore Farmville, VA then rent this cabin. “

„The house was amazing! We loved being able to go down to a boat ramp 8 minutes away and bring our boat back to the dock of the house. I cannot brag on this stay enough. The only thing we would ever suggest adding is tie-ons for boats at the dock. We tied off to the surrounding trees. “

„Our family had a great time at Anglers Den! The space was laid out very nicely, kitchen had everything we needed and great proximity to the water!Scott was so thoughtful as well. She bought our dog a little squeaky toy and had a dog cover for him! Highly recommended! “

„We loved the house and being able to dock our boat all week was great. Public boat ramp right across the cove so it was only a couple mins by boat to house. Very quiet neighborhood and all the people in the area were friendly and welcoming. We did not realize that the garage was not accessible and that made unpacking the truck with a weeks work of cloths and food a little more difficult. “

The host was very responsive to my questions. Roxboro has an older, quaint downtown and the surrounding areas have the typical retail stores if you needed something.“
