„It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.“

Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .“

„We stayed at the cottage over Easter wknd and had an absolutely lovely time. It was chilly outside but so cozy and warm indoors. We got out for a few hikes and played along the river's edge, had a few campfires and enjoyed the supply of boardgames and dvds. We hope to come back again soon. Maybe next time in warmer weather so we can play in the river!“

„We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions.“

„We booked this place while visiting with family in Haliburton for Easter weekend. It was about a 5-10 minute drive from Haliburton which was perfect. Very clean and modern interior, you can tell great pride is taken in keeping this cabin tidy! Will more than likely book again the next time we are visiting!“

„We loved the chicken/duck/goose coop down the road. We visited them every day, and the management even brought us some of their eggs on the first day. They also brought us a bundle of firewood to use. We had a campfire both nights. These things were unexpected, and very appreciated :)“

„Such a beautiful cottage nestled on an open waterfront property. Very quiet area gave a sense of peace and tranquility while appreciating nature. The large ceiling to floor windows overlooked the view of the lake and property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was large and clean. "Die Unterkunft liegt fantastisch direkt am Oxtongue Lake und vor dem Westgate des Algonquin Parks, auch die Ausstattung mit Grillplätzen und Booten ist sehr gut. Es ist aber erschreckend, wie man die Unterkunft in den Jahren heruntergewirtschaftet hat (wir waren zum dritten Mal hier!). Unsere Wohnungseinrichtung war alt, aber noch viel schlimmer, total verdreckt. Der Herd und der Backofen war voll von Resten vieler Vormieter, das Bad war gruselig und der Teppichboden total versifft. Wir sind daher früher abgereist und werden hier nicht wiederkommen. "
