„Good-we could walk to sightseeing areas in about half an hour, nice view Bad-tidy but not clean, towel rack broken, mold in bath, spider webs in kitchen, four forks for five people (we went and bought more), very ruff area, stains on bedsheets.“

„We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location in the West End was great. Lots of bars and restaurants right outside the door. Kelvingrove Museum, The University of Glasgow with the Hunterian Museum are very close. Not far from the river. Communication with Suzy was excellent. Check in involves a lock box on the wall outside the building. The apartment was clean. The kitchen well equipped. Although if you plan on doing your own cooking I would recommend purchasing cooking oil as well ...

„The flat itself was lovely, but we weren’t told there was a nightclub next door which could be heard clearly from the flat which meant we couldn’t sleep. “

„We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.“

„Port Glasgow and really all of Scotland is the friendliest and most helpful place I’ve ever been. The people are extremely nice…especially to a hillbilly from East Tennessee who was easily confused driving on the left side of the road. The apartment has a beautiful view of Port Glasgow and the Clyde River. We enjoyed our visit.“
