So grateful owner corrected the WiFi issue before we arrived because as advertised there is no cell service away from the property for miles and miles. That took a little getting used to. „This is our fifth year celebrating a birthday with a week at Fontana Cabin. That probably says it all. If you enjoy nature and solitude, this is the perfect place for you. Robert responds immediately to any questions you may have, though we rarely have them after staying here so often. „Very cool place! Everything is just as it says in description. Very comfy cozy. Very clean and private. My only suggestion would be to install a tub/shower unit. I know the claw foot tub is nestolgic, but its not really practical. Overall we loved the place. The road leading into property REALLY needs work!“

„We had a wonderful time here. Listening to the bubbling stream while sitting on the porch was wonderful, falling asleep to it was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed, we had supplies in the car we didn’t even need to bring in. Everything was clean and all ready for our arrival. „Wonderful spacious and clean cabin. Easy in and out without any glitches. Secluded with incredible peace and quiet (except the crickets and tree frogs singing you to sleep). But close enough to essential shopping and restaurants and great hiking trails. The cabin was well stocked and we had great relaxing dinners at home. Nice clean hot tub. Lots to do in the Smokies! encountered a bear driving the Scenic Loop. Would definitely revisit this cabin again.“

„If you are looking for great views, this is your place. It could use some work as far as painting, decking etc, not in brand new shape. We loved it! The driveway is as steep as stated. My moms honda civic would not go over 8mph, steep is an understatement, Very private and saw bear daily. House is huge and has pleanty of space. Great family area and pool. Would recommend!“

„ My wife and I, with our two young sons, stayed at Myths of the Mountain in Wears Valley in July 2025. The home was by far the nicest our family has stayed, and we have been visiting the area a long time. The entire layout and the thought that went into it was very well-done. The televisions and sound system were great, including all of the apps to watch all your favorite content. The Starlink Wi-Fi system worked perfectly and offered enough bandwidth to run everything effectively. The ...
