„The house is just as described. The location was great; close to where we rented our boat, restaurants and grocery store. Not far from state park for hiking as well. The road in front of the house is not a busy road. The towels were very soft and we used the deck alot. A nice addition would be a hairdryer! “

„Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings.“

„We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. If you plan to cook, bring a few things (hot mitts, aluminum foil, etc). Other reviews are right about the extremely low water pressure. That ...

„Great little spot for three younger people looking to explore the area. Four would have been a tight squeeze. Spiral staircase that is used to access 2/3 sleeping areas was also a tighter squeeze. Owner was communicative and responsive. Pleasant little weekend!“

„The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly.“
