It was like a family-friendly adult summer camp where all the essentials (propane grill, fire wood, condiments, beds and bedding) were provided but did not detract from the in-the-depths-of-the-woods feel. Close proximity to the lake as well as a beachfront recreation area with trails to boot. Our 6-year-old daughter loved it. Likely to go back given the opportunity!“

„Organized a weekend getaway with friends here. Absolutely beautiful space—landscaping, decor, and interior were all pristine. We had 16 people in total and had no issues with space; everyone was comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central New England meeting spot. “

„I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! “

„Twenty-five family members flew in from around the country for a memorial service in Pittsfield. The Inn allowed us to turn the weekend into a family reunion honoring our father/grandfather. Nine people slept at the Inn and we hosted two BBQ dinners for all. People enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor games and hot tub, the deck and large kitchen. Perfect weather and enough parking for our fleet of cars.“
