„2 stars because host seemed very polite to deal with. Other 2 star review very accurate. Heat was terrible. House wasnt clean at all. Mouse droppings found everywhere including on the griddle and in pans in kitchen. Throughout the furniture, bathroom stand beside sink and even on window seals. House and furniture smelled aweful. Mold coming thru bedroom ceiling. Open ended wiring just taped off in ceiling in living room. I feel it could of been great place if taken care of. “

„Well it was a roof over out heads for one night , mattresses on the floor no frame and was stained up badly, one was a air mattress . All interior doors were sliding closest doors and all but one was actually hung and workable. The grill that was shown in pics was very nasty rusty and no propane bottle. There was a dollar general charcoal grill that was very very small that i did use. No counter space. A micro mini clothes drawer and washer and a mini fridge. Sink had a dirty pan laying in it. ...

„Property was not clean. Rooms had exposed wiring and several other safety hazards. Ok room to rent if just looking for a place to rest your head. The couch also smelled like wet dog.“

„Sunset Cottage was such a charming, comfortable place to stay! My family only stayed one night, but my family and I enjoyed all the thoughtful details, amenities, and playing some of the games there! Sunset Cottage is immaculately clean, has many lovely decorations throughout, and seeing so many stars as we pulled up was delightful! We will definitely return next time we’re in KY! “

„Sara is a sweet and communicative host! She had a welcome basket with some snacks and treats on the counter for our arrival. The property was very homey and beautifully set up, as well as, only a 30 minute drive from Red River Gorge!The AC units can be a bit noisy if you're sensitive to that, but some ear plugs were provided for sleeping.Overall, an amazing place and wonderful host, I highly recommend this if you're wanting to stay in the area!“
