„We've stayed for a week at Doug and Lucy’s place in June 2025. We had a really great time, enjoyed everything. Mostly spent time on the lake - swimming, kayaking, fishing. Kids had fun at the beach and playgrounds at the Elrod Ferry Recreation Area, which is just a few minutes drive down the road. Groceries and shopping (Walmart and ALDI) are less than 10 minutes away. Overall, a very nicely located quiet place on the lake. Will definitely try to come back next year.“

There was plenty of room in the kitchen and dining area for eating and game playing. We enjoyed both the SUP and the kayak. „We had a large family gathering which we’ve been trying to put together for the last five years. The house was absolutely perfect and superb. The boat was a blast. Sean and David were gems, especially when the electricity went out and they travel 30 minutes to bring us lights and a little generator. Luckily the electricity came back on in a few hours and the rest of the vacation was amazing. We will definitely try to come back here because we don’t know of any place finer than this.
