The area is very walkable-easy access to the local restaurants, shops and ferry. The hill going from the shops/restaurants to the property is quite steep, but this is mentioned in the listing and we actually enjoyed walking up and down it each day. There are lights directly outside of the room (and no curtains, just transparent, paper thin cloth) that go on and off all night, every time a car drives by, illuminating the entire bedroom.
