„Decorating touches, velvet curtains and every thoughtful amenity. Comfy bed and bedding, even an “upscale” outhouse w art on wall. Next best thing to tent camping which I can no longer do. I will be back. Great getaway.“

„Close to downtown shops and restaurants. The sauna was a lovely touch. Beautiful Lake Superior views from the deck. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens for our family of four to enjoy. Host was responsive and a great communicator. Recommend for sure!“

„Awesome views, very clean. Beach lounge chairs are provided by Palm Bay, but they don’t provide umbrellas, you can rent one at the beach, around 28. We got lucky and there was a beach umbrella in the closet along with beach toys and kid floats. There were only a couple of small issues that are not real issues, more of an inconveniences. No paper towels, no salt n pepper and no grill utensils. These were fixed with a quick Instacart order and we didn’t miss a beat. We will definitely stay here ...

„It’s a beautiful property well planned. No running water and an outhouse. Solar electricity, which works fine if you don’t overuse it. We love the experience. It was challenging I’m 79 and my partner 84. We needed to be in reasonable condition to manage the challenge.“

„Everything was fabulous. However, at these prices, we don’t understand why no shampoo or bath soap was there. It would be easy to install refillable shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower. Otherwise we had a perfect stay“

„This little accommodation fit us well. Food is near by (World's Best Donuts on the block as well as restaurants and coffee shops). So no need to cook. It was cool weather while we were there, so we turned on heat and were toasty warm. Shower was great! Beautiful view and owner was very responsive. “

„Very nice, clean, and bright vacation spot. Enjoyed the wooded secluded location. We made good use of the kitchen. Great location, close to XC ski spots and Grand Marais. We were snowed in (couldn't get back up the driveway) for a bit due to the heavy snow.“
