„Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes ...

„What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!“

„This place was more than we expected; welcoming, peaceful.“

„We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!“

"Das junge Mädchen was morgens den Check-Out machte war sehr desinteressiert und erweckte den Eindruck nicht gern da zu arbeiten. Den Hinweis das jemand mal die Toilette wegen defekter Spülung anschauen sollte nahm sie desinteressiert entgegen. Insgesamt sprach sie nur 2 Worte. Jeweils "Ok". Das Hotel bedarf mal einer Modernisierung."
