It has a nice fenced-in back yard for the kids to run, and entertain. The host is always there for you. We have family in the area, so this has become our go-to place when visiting. Location, location, location!! The best. And super clean. We'll book here again. “

„We used this rental as a half-way point to and from our vacation destination. We were pulling a cargo trailer so it was nice to have a place that was large enough to park our rig and where we felt it was safe. Added bonus was that we were only 5 min from the Interstate but out in the country away from crowds surrounded by nature and peace and quiet. „We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light. „My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this campsite. Everything included made the trip stress free and we got to fully focus on fun and relaxation. Great campfire, lights, trash can, grill everything included. And the four stars on cleanness is only because of the grill but I’m sure that’s difficult to maintain outside overall 10/10 for real . “

„Loved the restaurant suggestions, the house was super cute and we would definitely rent it again. I do suggest putting on the listing that it is next to a train track. I personally did not find that as a problem, I slept right through it. But if you're not used to those kinds of noises it can be distracting. This place is great it's within 5 minutes of everything you need. “

„We had a very nice room. Other than leftover used towel hanging on the bathroom hook, the room was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was enough but lacking plates to put hot foods on only bowls and 5 inch paper plates. Coffee was good but orange juice bitter. “
