Chip (and Busy) were wonderful hosts and gave a grand tour of the home along with pointing out architectural and period details in this historic Dutch Colonial Revival. The property is set up away from the street in a very quiet neighborhood. Everything we could have needed was available to us. This won’t be our last visit. “

„We believe the house was built in the 1920's and has all the charm of that era with all the modern conveniences of this one. The 3 bdrms and 3 bathrooms were perfect for our stay and the hostess was wonderful. The property is loved.We parked in the driveway but parking can be on the street despite street signs to the contrary we were told they were not enforced. Would we stay there again....in a heartbeat.“

„Nestled in the woods, this home is a perfect getaway and a great base for exploring the natural beauty of Southern Illinois! Kevin is an excellent host communicating details for our stay. Great rooms, beds, porch, bath and views to the forest! All super comforable (and exceptionally clean too). I made dinner last night and it was easy to find what I needed in the kitchen. „Marvelous! Our cabin was beautiful, well stocked, and our host, Steve, was most helpful to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The area is beautiful, as well. The cabins are a great base for exploring the area, which for us included Giant City and a visit to SIU-Carbondale. Strongly recommended!“
