„A nice, quiet place to relax after a day of activity. Walking distance to downtown is a plus! The only things that could be improved are the wifi (it kept randomly cutting off), a bit more shelf space in the bedroom for things like toothbrushes and razors and we had a lot of bugs and spiders in the space and one of them left an itchy bite on my wife’s leg! “

„We absolutely loved the location of this property. Who knew South Dakota was this amazing? I watched the turkeys come down fm roost in the morning. I stopped my car as the deer claimed the roads, I was in awe watching the mountain goats nearby, freely grazing. And the views?? UNBELIEVABLE. I get emotional exploring the beauty of our great Country. The memories of this area i will cherish. This jem was great for us and the hosts were amazing. Thanks for sharing your sweet place with us.“

„We stayed here for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect as we came to the Black Hills to ride the Mickelson Trail and enjoy the fall colors which were spectacular.This house is in a great location to tour through the Black Hills. Its very clean, quiet, spacious for two. We loved it and would go back again.“

„Clean & comfortable. Location was a little hard to find, but good directions were provided. The spiral staircase didn't work for the 70 year olds, but we adjusted.Cooling system worked well, as promised!“

„House was very nice for our long weekend enjoying the areas attractions. We were comfortable and everything was lovely. The only comment I would share for others is that most of the homes in that area are built on hills. Parking is limited and the driveway is on a significant grade. Those with mobility issues may struggle dealing with loading and unloading... we were glad it was snowy or icy. Thanks for a great weekend!“

„The overall property is very nice and peaceful. We loved having a fully fenced area for the dogs. Definitely a unique and historic property. The only issue I had was the height of the composting toilet. For me, it was a big step up and down, and I felt unsteady using it in the middle of the night. It would be nice to have a grab bar or something to help stabilize older people (like me). “
