„Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. „We stayed 2 nights in the carriage house at the Litz mansion. Immaculate- great steam shower, comfortable bed and pillows/ Everything you could want or need! Considering places to stay in the area, the Litz house and the especially the carriage house are way better than the other options.“

„We first visited Tazewell 3 years ago when there was 8 of us riding the Back of the Dragon and we had a great stay at The Litz.This visit was great even though there was only 2 of us, we had the whole house to ourselves. It was like a grown-up version of Home Alone!“

„We loved our stay at the mansion and it meet our overnight needs perfectly. We thought we were the only ones there, but in the morning there were several other guests so that attests to how quite it was. The kitchen and living and dining areas were wonderful. I really appreciated the coffee after a somewhat wet hiking experience. “

This location was perfect, conveniently a block or so off of the main street but the trees and landscaping made it feel remote and secluded. „We stayed here for a family event. Ages of our group range from 83 to 17. Our hosts were so welcoming and beyond hospitable. Their house was very clean and located close to everything we needed. The street is quite peaceful. We enjoyed the personal touches at this location and appreciated the handicap accessibility with the ramp and walk-in shower. I would definitely recommend! “

„ The Host (Gary) goes out of his way to make sure you have EVERYTHING you need for an enjoyable stay! He communicates and asks if there is anything you need. The house was awesome and clean and was well stocked with EVERYTHING! When he says you don’t need to bring anything but your clothes, he really means it! I will definitely return! Thumbs up! “
